I am extremely sleepy & I don’t know if I’ll make it till 10pm, much less midnight. I somehow do not have a problem with this & am kind of excited to get some rest. I am realizing more & more lately that it’s not my life that needs altering, it’s my attitude, & I just need to find happiness in my situation. or whatever. I am way too tired to be having this conversation with myself, so HERE IS A PHOTO OF OLIVER BEING AS SLEEPY AS I FEEL RIGHT NOW. I wish I had a lovely fleece cube to curl up in, but unfortunately, my Rattie Secret Santa did not send any Lisa-sized cubes, so I had to give it to Ollie.
I did take a photo yesterday, but in all the excitement of packing up & getting ready to come back home today, I never got around to posting it. (For those who do not know, my blog was originally started to post a photo of every day of 2011.) I actually took a bunch of photos, but they’re all of birds & I know y’all have to be so sick of all my bird photos but I CAN’T HELP IT I JUST LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING BIRDS AND I ONLY GET TO DO IT WHEN I GO VISIT MY PARENTS.
Anyway, we (me, rats, fish) are back at home & doing swell. The boys are all asleep, but I will take some photos once they’re rested & a little more settled in because I feel so guilty for not posting many while we were away!
Here is a seagull photo for today. I like seagulls & the lake is very peaceful even though the seagulls are loud & squawky. I spent a long time there today just to get away from my family.

I think he is trying to convey in rat language that he would love to see Sherlock Holmes 2 & that he also finds RDJ in makeup to be really hot.
