Simon update 

Well, Simon made it through the night & he is a little more lively this morning (he moved from the tunnel to the house), but he seems out of it & dull-eyed. He did take some food from me this morning & he still seems perfectly relaxed & comfortable, so I guess I’ll just play it by ear. He’s lost a good bit of weight the last few days.

My schedule is a little more relaxed next week, I’m only working 32 hours; if he suddenly shows any signs of stress or pain, I will more than likely be able to get him to the vet pretty quickly to be put down, so I guess I’ll just play it by ear & see how he’s feeling each day, but I suspect he’s on his way out fairly soon.
